I designed this adapter after my family kept going through Arctic Spa Pro Filter sets in our Summit XL. The kit permanently replaces the Progressive or Combo Filter connection and lets owners use compatible generic filters that can be rinsed and reused.

The adapter keeps the familiar skimmer covers while changing the filter connection underneath.

Remove the Pro Filter setup

Take out the existing filter components following the installation guide.

Add the compatible filters

Purchase compatible generic filters separately, install them onto the adapter kit, then rinse and reuse them as needed.

Install the adapter kit

Fit the bases, inserts, caps, and slot reducers into the existing skimmer area.

Two practical replacement paths.

Stock Progressive Pro Filters are sealed proprietary cartridges. They are replaced rather than opened, rinsed, and reused. Compatible 2020+ Custom Series owners can keep that OEM cycle or use Kit v3 to move to reusable generic filters.

Continue replacing the proprietary Progressive cartridges on the manufacturer's schedule. The sealed media is not a rinse-and-reuse filter.
